Event Statistics

• Over 7,000 wine and food aficionados attended the five-day festival in 2007

• Anticipated attendance for the 2008 event is estimated at 8,500 total attendees

• Over 160 wineries from wine growing regions around the world take part in the event

• Over 700 different types of wines are poured at the Reserve Tasting and Grand Events

• 60 of San Diego's top restaurants and celebrated chefs take part

• 30 Gourmet Food companies also sample their product at the Grand Event

• Celebrity Chefs and James Beard Award Winners such as Top Chef Contestant Brian Malarkey, Food & Wine Magazine Best Chef Gavn Kaysen, Patrice Olivan from the French Embassy; wine and cheese author, Laura Werlin; author and award-winning chef, Bob Kinkead; and others have participated in the line-up of exciting and informative cooking demonstrations
